Do not laugh at the natives

A couple of years ago me and Linda stumbled upon an exhibition of funny signs found around the world, looked through a bunch of old pics today and felt I had to share some of them with you, my darlings.

Enjoy!

Hejdå Sverige!

Bags are packed, goodbyes are said. In one hour I'm getting in the car that takes me to the airport, and back to la france! Sweden's been great, but I must say I'm quite excited to get back "home".

I leave you guys today with this little vid of my darling brother. He grows very fast...

A snowy sunday in Sweden

Coffee with dad, packing (managed to expand my luggage with yet another quite large bag, oopsie..), hanging out at Jespers, dinner with mom and lil' bro, more packing, swedish candy and Some kind of monster.

Good end of this week, and good end of this visit to Sweden. Tomorrow - coffee with les girls (minus Linda, sniff) and hopping on the plane back to gay pariiii. Woop woop!

NYE 10/11

Kimmy Keff & Döner

We've had many nicknames over the years, and darling Sophia - ever since that new years celebration in Copenhagen, you're still Kimmy Keff in my phonebook.

7 years and still going strong!

Love you sweets!

Time for a change

Today I did something, for me, very big. For the first time in years - I went to a salon and got a proper haircut! Quite a big change (at least in my eyes), and I absolutely love it!

Also had coffee with dad and picked up a couple of books from the sale, Mick Walls book on Metallica amongst others. Good day!

No good pics of the new do yet, I'll post some randoms from these latest couple of days for now.

Now - The penguins of madagascar!

Lovely Linda at Kofi the other day

Darling mum at Wayne's Coffee

After a lovely family dinner at Sophia's last night, we went to Friday's for cocktails with Linda - if there's something I miss about Stockholm, it's definitely my beautiful friends <3

Oldies

Been feeling very weak all day, I think it's this christmas diet that's messing with my system.. However, me and mum decided to put on our warmest and head out in to the cold for some shopping! Came home one pair of pants, one pair of boots and a dress richer. Am now working on getting an appointment at a fancy pants hair salon for tomorrow, I'm coming back to Paris a new woman!

Until then, feel free to enjoy some oldies : )

Tradition

Last night I stuck with old tradition and spent the evening of christmas day at Harry B James, with my darling girls! Also ran in to dear Jesper from last x-mas, who has now equipped me with a swedish sim card, how great are my friends??

Now, off for coffee (if anyone finds a good word for fika, feel free to pass it on)
with lovely Linda, hope you're having just as great of a day as I am!

Mistress for christmas

I didn't get a mistress for christmas (sniff), but I did get a bunch of other great stuff - including a trip to the hairdresser, boots, audrey hepburn films and lovely shower stuff!
Christmas eve was a very peaceful, calm day in company of my beautiful family. Food, Kalle Anka, food again, presents, more food, santa & reindeer and a some more food.

Took around a million pictures, and naturally, I want to share it with you my darlings.

Enjoy!

Killer santa and his little helpers

Last night we decorated the tree, in a very traditional way. Present were aggressive santa, the christmas alien, robber teddy and the two reindeers, both a bit red nosed after some wine.

Now, off to grandma's for lunch, 'cause that's what christmas is all really about - food.

Merry christmas my loves!

Home, sweet home

At 2:20 last night I touched swedish ground for the first time in a year. Although the flight was more than a little bit delayed, the flight crew were all very friendly - and I loved the guy who did the announcements... (imagine this in a very sleepy, french accent)

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have now landed in Arlanda, Stockholm. It is a fresh minus 25 degrees outside and no sun. (pause) because (pause again) ... it's night. Hope you eh... had a good flight with us. (pause) Happy holidays!"

Thank you, Leslie

I remember clearly the first time I saw a movie with Leslie Nielsen. It was a number of years ago (2007?), with best friend Sophia and boyfriend at the time Gustav, on a very long bus trip.

Stockholm - Prague and back; a trip that included two drunk older men taking their clothes off, Sophias passport panic by some border, beef jerky and finishing up with a nice accident leaving no one but me hurt. Of course.

The highlight was definitely when the (probably wasted-) bus driver decided to drown the sound of people snoring with the amazing movie - Wrongfully Accused.

Don't think I've laughed so hard in my entire life, I'll never forget me and Sophia rolling around in the aisle trying to catch our breath from laughing so hard...

RIP Leslie Nielsen.

Stockholm Boogie

The other day me and the best mom in the world (mine, just to be extra clear) booked me tickets to go back to dear old stockholm over x-mas and new years.

It will be exactly one year since I last stepped foot on swedish ground, or any other ground than french for that matter.

Feels strange, exciting and to be honest, I'm a teensy bit nervous. I've had many good times in my hometown, I'm sure more than one of you remember some of these old goodies:

... Stockholm, look out - Here I come again !!!

Trisse

Two days ago a part of our family left us. Trisse, you went way too early my darling, you will be missed.
